Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Solar Energy Plans ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service, including but not limited to homeowners seeking solar information, solar installers using our platform, and any third parties interacting with our tools and resources.

Use of Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You are prohibited from using the Service to transmit any unlawful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable material, or to violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service or any systems or networks connected to the Service.

The solar savings calculations and estimates provided by our tools are for informational purposes only and are based on general assumptions, publicly available data, and information you provide. Actual savings will vary based on numerous factors including local electricity rates, system performance, weather conditions, and changes in energy consumption. You acknowledge that these estimates are not guarantees of future savings.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, nor do we make any warranty as to the results that may be obtained from use of the Service or the accuracy or reliability of any information obtained through the Service.

Solar Energy Plans is an information platform and comparison tool. We are not a solar installer, utility company, or financial advisor. Any decisions you make regarding solar installation should be based on your own research and consultation with qualified professionals. We do not endorse any particular solar installer, product, or service, and make no representations or warranties regarding the quality of work or products provided by third-party installers.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Solar Energy Plans, its officers, directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service, any conduct or content of any third party on the Service, or any unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months prior to the event giving rise to the liability. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within Travis County, Texas for the resolution of any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Service.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect and enforceable. These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Solar Energy Plans regarding the use of the Service.
